The much larger concern is the soaring number of births outside of stable two-parent families, and the social impact that has. Activists are obsessed with not letting Bill and Bob get married and have a stable family while a good chunk of the next generation is not growing up with stable families at all.

This is why so much of the "culture wars" are just foolish distractions from the most pressing issues of the day.
