I don't think we'll be swinging back to Jim Crow laws any time soon, nor do I think miscegenation will make a comeback. Sometimes something that looks like a "culture war" (as being tolerant of blacks looked to some whites in the 50's and 60's)- is actually the beginning of a permanent shift in perception.
