Less impugns the motives of those he disagrees with:

I am arguing that gays resent straights and the marriage issue is more about an attempt to deny straights a distinct identity than to be included in anything.

There's nothing decent about that.

One thing about homosexuality is its more conducive to spreading diseases. Partly due to the nature of their sexual practices and partly due to the promiscuity of male gays.

Male homosexuals will always be promiscuous because they're all guys ... lets face it, with normal unions, that is to say male-female ones, the male urge to promiscuity is tamed and controlled by female partner's sensibilities. We all know if you love your wife and want to keep her, the price to pay is faithfulness.

I understand in most gay "marriages" the couple don't even expect sexual fidelity or faithfulness.

the percentage of people in the U.S. that are OK with gay marriage is creeping towards the 50% mark.

Then the proponents should try to change laws legislatively, not by judicial imposition.

"1. What exactly is indecent about homosexuality, anyway?

I have not said that it is, why do you ask?

"Common principles of decency change. I think you're adhering to common principles of decency from a century or more ago. I'm not sure exactly how many people in the U.S. believe that homosexuality in itself is indecent, and the percentage of people in the U.S. that are OK with gay marriage is creeping towards the 50% mark. So would that make your principles "uncommon?"

You are presumptively mistaken, I was using the term common to mean in common among human beings across time and circumstance. Of course there have practices that were common at some times but at others were considered immoral or evil. Common principles of decency across time are principles like kindness, charitableness, consideration, generosity, honorable conduct etc.
