The religious right should focus more on keeping families with children intact, rather than worrying about a very small percentage of the population being granted the same rights they already have

They will - but like roe vs wade - they will continue to lobby at some more reduced level and bring it up every four years - I wish both political parties could stop wasting our time with these issues - it makes for one issue voters and does us little good as a country.
