Mac? MAC? Hi B, I knew you were weird. A Mac. Incredible... we use them for boat anchors here in Annapolis... and I thought the Mac had gone the way of the bears... or do I have it backwards?? When a dyed-in-the-wool bear is ONLY predicting a percent a day, I KNOW there will be trouble. Wake up and smell the Globex, er roses! Happy days are here again, the sky is blue, the.... Bonnie, this string has become more negative than usual. Bear markets begin politely and then drop like a rock when everyone has given up. After 15 years of a bull market, I think there will be a good deal of resistance. I looked at the Globex numbers and they do not appear consistent with the results of the Asian and European markets at this hour. If we would have had a 300 plus DJI drop on Friday, I think there would have been some serious discussions over the weekend between mutual fund holders--just like 1987. However, we just had the typical 150 plus move. I would not be surprised to see an up day in the DJI today. Whatever happens, I will be home much of the day to watch it.
