I just have a hard time believing that the real reason you don't want gays to marry is because you are afraid of what might be said in some first grade reading book.

I did not say I have a problem with gay marriage as a matter of fact I'm not opposed and when and if I have to vote on the issue I'd for it. What I said was I fear the unintended consequences that always come from such changes. Instead of probing the consequences you immediately bring other non sequitur issues you believe attached to religious zealots and ascribe them to me when I have repeatedly stated I have no use for religion.

Since you asked - creationism - do not believe, should people be informed or mention this in schools so others can judge for themselves - sure, why not.

Global cooling - no, didn't believe it when they taught it in school.

Global warming - no, same thing just a different direction.

The population bomb - no - more false math and extrapolations.

Evolution - yes, I think the genetics prove this
