What about the latest stupid idea of upper atmosphere purposeful pollution? I recall one of the suggested solutions to global cooling and the coming ice age in the 70's was to purposely burn things to produce mass quantities of CO2. While I don't buy the global warming litany - I think we should pursue alternative forms of energy with some vigor - more for the financial and political changes it would bring. The idea of radically adding even more things to an atmosphere we barely understand is just reckless and could I suppose trigger the next ice age - which in my opinion would be worse than some warming. The greatest biodiversity came during the earths warm periods not during ice ages. As for the bowing and what not - not sure I care. If he can charm stuff out of them - I guess I'm for it. PS: I voted for Bush twice - but that doesn't mean I agreed with him 100% either.

You guys really think Bush was worse than some of the crap being pulled by 'bam in 3 short months? Number of US citizen killed by an alleged bow - 0 Number of people killed at the Trade Center Towers during last administration - 2700 Number of soldiers killed in an optional war in IRAQ - 4000+ O's first three months and the RW response - priceless
