"Marriage has a legal status. That makes it the business of the state. If you want to take away that status and give the state only the right to give civil unions and leave marriages to the churches, great, I'm totally for that. Are you? I'm ok with that ... I would add Churches (or any other community group) can call their unions whatever they want. They can already do that btw. We both know your real issue is getting something from those traditional family values people. Any success they achieve in life is a thorn in your side. That's the real problem most people have with Sarah Palin.
