Yeah, it's Banana Republic rally, that's exactly what's wrong
with it. Cash and bonds are worse than stocks, but all three
are horrible. It can go far. As things get worse, the DOW
could reach 10K, then 100K. Never say never. -g-

The government bought AIG and then fulfilled their contracts. Eventually the Governement will come out ahead IMO. The governemnt could have let AIG go BK but decided to buy it instead. We will see if this was a good decision in the future. But Government has to fufull their insurance contracts once they owned the company.
