I think that is true of you, but not necessarily of all the posters on this thread. Others have been far less open minded, which I think is silly.

I read the same comments that you read and I don't believe I've detected such opinions. I think you're just being overly sensitive because most of these folks are more pragmatic than the majority of the views you've presented.

From what I've read, it would seem they have the same standards that I do, which is that alternative/renewable fuels must be cost-competitive with fossil so as not to overly burden the economy and consumer.

I think it's going to require 10-20 years of technological advancement to achieve cost competitiveness, but in the interim there is no reason we should discriminate against available domestic supplies of energy.
