Now, i agree. i was trying to make the point that valuations have been disconnected from reality and that future risk is no longer being discounted - both traits of bubble buying.

i'm not necessarily talking about the big banks, either - there was obviously (in hindsight) a good play there since the government was going to gift them back to life regardless of the cost.

but everyone betting the economy will turn on a dime and running valuations up through the roof just aren't thinking straight.
