why spend money on military when the united states will spend and spend on military. eu puts its bucks into social programs. Well duh! This is now our 7th year there and things are worse today than when we first went in. Why continue to fuel failure is likely their thinking. Why not instead put their resources into social programs - maybe new bridges or new hospitals or new schools? I know I would rather see a new school in my community than continue to pay for failure. But now Obama is putting more resources into Afghanistan. Is that bad? Is it bad to try to change failure? Unless you like endless wars and endless body bags of Americans coming home from Afghanistan then support this president and hope with all your heart he is successful.
