Jack Z., I agree that this thread should have all views of datek on it. My response was to Sniper who referred to them as dasux. If you truly think datek sucks, then you should close your account. I think it's unwise to continue to do business with a brokerage if you think they suck. However, upon closing the account, a post here describing what happened would definitely be appropriate. "But,when someone starts calling people idiot or asking those who have suffered because of poor service to leave, that persons motives ajre suspect." I did not call anyone an idiot or any other offensive name. I didn't ask anyone to leave the thread, I just recommended that he close his account if he thinks datek sucks. If you are suspicious of those who post positive comments on this thread, then you may not get any. Is that what you want? Personally, I think datek is great. They aren't perfect, but they deliver on what's important to me. If I thought they sucked, I'd close my account and let you know all about it. prophet
