very long time... i supported going into iraq if we could get out of there in a year. After that i figured the president would lose all support. Afghanistan, i figured when the nations all pledged financial support and military and most never came through with it the country was a lost cause. Now nato , eu etc have zip interest in supporting afghanistan and sending our troops into danger doesn't make sense. this is an operation the appears only political in nature.
