Have you've been following the markets ?? Yes: Up during Clinton, down during Bush, up during Obama. These are extraordinary times. Normally money market and t-bill rates are higher than the tax rate would be. But what about the guy who just has his home as an asset(probably 50% of the people), you want to take that away from him ? How's he coming up with 40K a year ?? He would have a lifetime of tax free income to help prepare for his retirement... SD
