Well people name call across the isle a lot and so I usually consider the source while I'm considering the validity. Ethical people, which are representatives are presumed to be (rightly or wrongly) should be taken serious when they lodge an allegation and they should be prepared to back it up with convincing substance. In the Biden case, there were a number of people confirming the allegation who were eye witness to the events. In the Palin case, I think 'lie' is too strong a word to use for the complications behind getting someone to come to an event. Someone like her who has multiple requests and several agendas with their own demands and itinerary. However, if she has been dishonest that is not good. So far though we only have grumpy old men who are feeling snubbed and who are lashing out at her over it.
