Are you sure? How many people does Microsoft actually employ, and how many in Washington? I thought the figure was relatively low compared to their gross. I think what is important in Seattle per se (20 miles from Redmond???) is the giant port (Toyotas in, wheat out) and Boeing (airplanes out.)

Now Redmond, *that* city would have a problem.
