Because there is no free lunch. Because sooner or later the piper has to be paid. If it is later, it costs more. Much more. If Bush wanted everyone to be wealthy, why begin a pattern where they and their children will pay far, far, more in taxes to maintain their current standard of living? There is absolutely no connection... but, if there is, just to use your own logic, then absolutely, compared to obama, bush didn't manufacture a crisis so he can create tens of trillions of dollars in wasteful spending... to use your line of reasoning, then if bush wanted everyone to be wealthy, then obama definitely wants everyone to be poor, not only you but your kids, their kids, and their kids, and their kids as well...
