Well, if you've got any suggestions for fun things for man and wife to do, I'm all ears. The theater here might have some good plays, but I'm skeptical. I don't want to be indoctrinated. My wife acted in a couple of plays in Juneau and she likes the stage, but that crowd is pretty liberal. Same goes for bookstores. I love bookstores, and in another life I might even have one. But it's pretty obvious to see the political leanings of the typical patron in this neighborhood. They have readings of poetry and 'meet the author' things I might be interested in if I could find the right subject. Don't say 'shopping' -- that's my wife's gig and I'd rather get wisdom teeth extracted.
