I am afraid I will never be tolerant of prejudice- except that unique form of prejudice against the prejudiced :-) That doesn't bother me, and it does not bother me that it does not bother me (boy that one is a hall of mirrors.) I guess if that is heinous, then I choose to be heinous.

But I would not join an institution and go week by week to rant in groups against the people I find prejudiced. It's just a personal thing. And I, unlike some other people, would enact no laws to hurt the people I find prejudiced (I would only protect those people who the prejudiced want to hurt, by making sure that state is fair).

As I told DB, it really is impossible for me to respect people who are prejudiced against huge groups of people because of their sexual orientation, or the color of their skin- because those things are fairly immutable (reprogramming and Michael Jackson notwithstanding.)

Strictly for amusement only, I would refer innocent bystanders to the original charter of that other thread, siliconinvestor.com I'm not sure which is funnier, the "some objectivity" thing or the misspelling of Rove's given name. Then there's the amusing "three strikes" thing; the professional in chief was given to gloating about his pre-banned list in the early days. Then there's the no conspiracy thing, which is extra ironic if you take in the continuous drivel there about all the people allegedly running Obama, not to mention the dreaded liberal MSM conspiracy to suppress the obvious truth and beauty of all manner of conservative dogma.

Personally, I believe the faithful have every right to worship in peace, it's just odd when they proudly carry their righteous indignation out of church .

Dale - the reason I moderate my posting tone and behavior is for your benefit, it's to keep within the thread moderator rules.

If I searched SI for all the ridiculous posts from the one you felt inclined to pat on the back and support, the thread would deteriate into nothing more than an ugly back and forth dialogue. I thought you were against that kind of behavior.

Maybe I was wrong. I do believe, if I posted one quarter of the sarcasm and condescension toward others as I routinely receive, especially the third party jibes, there is little doubt I would be tossed off the board.
