No, you told me that I was superficial for saying that Italian construction is crap. Seriously, Taro, some of the old buildings look like sand castles on the beach after they have been knocked over. How they manage to stay upright this long is nothing short of amazing.

Now as for any private house constructions, rest assured cheating is nearly impossible. I paid more that 10k Euro extra in order to meet the rules in Italy.

Given the seismic activity in that area, I don't blame you. Italy sits on two major plates pushing up against each other.....not unlike the West coast.
