Kumar, Good thing to see you posting again when ideas of Gloom and Doom sets the tune in this thread. One positive thing this downturn created is that many people who admire AMAT but find it expensive to buy in the 50s are now beginning to take a second look; among my friends and relatives, AMAT is the most popular stock of them all, in part because they think the stock is something of a Magic that let me earn in a few days watching TV what they earn in a year or two...

As the stock slides further, I feel sorry for those who were too bullish to have margined. I know how it feels since I experienced doing it in the past. My advise is to sell stocks to buy LEAPs little by little as the stock slides and slides. The idea is to have cash near the bottom. Last year, the bottom was minus 63% from the top; now at 30, at minus 45%. I want every Bull to make money just as I made money by switching to LEAPs last year...
