So why are your liberal bastions of emerald cities like new york, detroit, new orleans, DC all disasters when compared to Arkansas? I could, if I chose to do so, live comfortably and still save money on what Z pays in rent. And I'm a hell of a lot safer in the process. And I don't have to take freaking trains everywhere I go. Last time I was in NYC I went to Smith & Wollensky's, and I can tell you we have a hell of a lot better food here than I got there. At a fraction of the price (just got back from eating at the lake; we were out $65 including the freaking tip).
