Will ROTC and military recruiters be tolerated at liberal universities now that liberals are talking like they're supportive of the military? Colleges are not places of war. They are meant to educate people to a higher good....not train them to kill. Message 24154382 West Point is a college designed specifically for people who want to make the military their career. That's the only place where a military presence makes sense to me. Message 24151720 I don't think the military, an org. for war, should share a campus geared to learning. Its an aesthetic contradiction IMO. Message 24492022 don't think ROTC should be on campus. If students want a career in the military then go to a school like West Point or Annapolis. This country is way to militaristic.......its how we get into trouble so easily. Message 24487880
