According to their financial statements, it cost them $3,480,974 to produce 5,062 onces. These are operating costs only.

If you add all promotion, administrative, drinks and alcohol expenses, then it cost them $1,421 for each of these ounces produced.

I've seen both approaches work to the betterment of investors, but I agree it is more reassuring that the company be mining reserves rather than resources.
