Mary,

Well, they have some great products, WordPerfect and the office suites etc., that they have been unable to sell. Bad sign. They brought in someone from Dell, a highly successful company, to try to fix the problem. Good sign. They have badly managed public relations and management of the analysts, witness the Java confusion and 1000% plus downward revisions two months ago. Bad sign.

All you have now is Cowpland's promise that a series of announcements in the next few months will surprise everyone and should lift the stock price. Does anyone trust Cowpland at this point?

Everyday, the stock keeps getting closer and closer to:

$3 by Halloween!

In essence it is already there, at $3 and change, as I predicted.

Meanwhile, there are tons of excellent companies with great prospects everywhere you look.

So why would anybody want to invest in Corel, or keep money there if they already have shares?

Beats me.

Vanni

Dear Mary;

Just my opinion, Corel will survive, thanks in part to some good advice that they are now getting as regular snoopers to this and other threads.

Now some advice as to your querries to Vanni.

This my is our most" revered one" on this thread, and those guys over on the SEAGATE thread have an even higher opinion of him, since he called overcapacity in disk drives and semi industries and was pointing to exits long before analysts on Wall Street;

So, if you see any cracks at all in his revelations please pounce with both feet, we need to keep him from getting the big head .....gregor
