TO ALL-----Spot pricing has taken another huge drop over the
weekend and sub 4.00 pricing is already prevalent with the
Koreans leading the charge.More importantly is SDRAM ,pricing
has dropped to mid 4.00 range and with a lot of companies
hoping synch would hold their pricing ,a lot of major players
have to be scratching their heads today.
It is very evident that if Sept-Oct buying period can't produce
stability in pricing then the build to order models being
adopted by the Pc industry is indicating either a tremendous
slowdown in demand or the overcapacity in dram fabs is worse
than industry pundits would let everyone believe.Probably a little
of both.
If MU can't count on MUEI for anything towards the bottom line
then next reporting period may find them showing a loss. Can the
charge of dumping be far behind, even that has grown stale in drams
but MU uses it every time their earnings are challenged.
