Understood, but every time I've seen the argument, the data that was presented to back it up was usually twisted around or omits some key points. Did you know that the gap between rich and poor grew sustantially under Clinton, for instance? The whole notion that prosperity under Bush only benefitted the few is complete bunk, unless you know of no one who didn't refinance or otherwise take advantage of the rising real estate market.
