Sure agree with the awful delay, but wouldn't the court challenges just switch to if the 1000 vote threshold was met? It was 989 vote difference so I won - but there are those 17 questionable ballets so we need a re-vote. How to decide without a court decision?

Then there is the issue that if one person won by say 500 points fair and square with no doubts and no challenges BUT must go before the voters again. Maybe things changed on the national stage to favor the real loser - is that then fair to the winner?

I think the MN election is so screwed up it should be done over.

I think sentiments have changed and the result could be affected, but that is the danger in mishandling election results.
