My ilk? Actually, I have very publicly stated multiple times that we should drill everywhere, including ANWR. However, balancing that statement, I've said it won't do us long term good, even if we did. Now back to the point. Russians believe the ice is melting in the Arctic and they are taking aggressive actions based on that. Inupiat tribes in Alaska are experiencing changing while migratory patterns as a result of the melt as well. dsc.discovery.com So are the Russians and Inupiat just idiot tree huggers? Or do they know more than you do about ice melt in the Arctic? I think the probability is high that they know more than you do, because you have blinders on. They are simply taking pragmatic action based on plausible data and clear observation of the facts on the ground. Ice is melting due to warming. Those are the facts. Get over it.
