I like to post unattributed Onion articles occasionally to get them to defend a ridiculous position.

One of my favorites was I posted an article that stated the Army was giving HS students X-boxes if they would sign a contract to join up for Iraq on graduating, and get their parents to co-sign. I had several wingnuts defending the practice..

Good point. Given that he thought the Onion was posting 'real' news, I don't think it is possible to make any instruction too remedial...
