Now about budget deficits of over a trillion dollars a year. Threatening the long term value of the dollar. Planned carbon taxes which will burden EVERYONE. Hiding the taxes in power bills and higher prices don't mean they aren't taxes.

Please enlighten us and tell us how the current situation is appropriate and why these tea parties by loons are warranted. The bottom line is that there is a significant contingent of individuals who believe that Obama's wild spending (and to a lesser extent, Bush's before him) are bad for the country. I don't know whether these people are willing to take a day off work to protest or not. Liberals never have a problem taking a day off work because they're not working in the first place. When they get a chance to protest, they're down for it, no matter when or where.
