JFShepard, most liberal policies are centered around the Nanny State "spreading the wealth." People are too stupid to figure things out for themselves, according to the liberals in charge. So instead of trusting individuals and emphasizing personal responsibility, the government should level the playing field and limit the rewards and risks of people's own actions.
