All those things you mention are tax loop holes and breaks, aren't they?

Do you think the IRA deduction is a "loophole or break"? Do you think exclusion of interest on muni bonds a loophole? What about the averaging of lump-sum distributions?

These are all provisions of the tax code that are there to provide an incentive for taxpayers to do one thing or another.

Take it up with the liberals in Congress.

Of course not. I wouldn't qualify for EITC -- the most abused provision in all of the Internal Revenue Code.
