Instead of the mind meld, analysts say Obama's eyes were opened as he learned more about the program and now realizes it is both lawful and necessary

And what might happen if he cancelled the program, which Obama would rightly be blamed for. But nah, there couldn't be any actual threats - we know Bush made it all up!
