Well, it appears that many market participants agreed this time, and the Goldman stock got a feet treat.

For me it is still a 4-month transitional period with earnings of 1.24, period (rather than a quarter with 3.40). And when it comes to earnings quality, we will soon see how other i-banks do - particularly MS and the new additions to Barclays.
