Olberman and Beck are very, very different creatures. Olberman's smart as a whip. As well as snarky. But his critiques are well within mainstream criticisms. And generally very, very funny. Not as good as Rachel Maddow. Who is quite special. Beck's just way off the radar. John Birch society territory. If not worse. Message 25568833 Actually, Olbie and Beck are very different. Olbie is a typical leftwinger who denounces people with different opinions as evil - "the worst person in the world". From all I've heard of Beck, he's a pretty positive guy and doesn't go in for Olberman-style hate talk. PS Yes today is beat up on the View thread day for me.

WOW! That was from Comrade Baker, Dear Leader of the LWE cult so inappropriately named "The View from the Center". To this day he manages to deceive himself into believing he's a "centrist". What's so fracking scary about this is this nutjob can't tell his a$$ from a hole in the ground. Yet he has managed to build a cult of like minded followers who actually buy into every whacked out LWE Talking Point without question. And they cling to it even in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
