Oops. I guess it got too complicated. You were talking about Keynesian economics and his concept of a wealth tax. Since property taxes were already in place, and no new ones were implemented, then why were you complaining about Keynesian economics and a wealth tax?

But, that does bring up a point. You made the claim that a wealth tax would discourage accumulation of wealth. But, as you have noted, property taxes are a form of wealth taxes. So, by your thesis, home ownership would be at a low rate, being discouraged and all.

Remind me how we managed to fly the world's economy into the ground again?
