No, I was merely challenging your claim that there are all these OG tax "loopholes". I doubt they have anymore "loopholes" than anyone else.

There was a time when the at-risk limitations of section 465 and and PAL rules of section 469 weren't in place and some large partnerships were set up to generate deductions in excess of partner contributions. Those, it could be argued, were loopholes -- but Reagan largely closed those and the so-called loopholes along with them.

I simply asked "which loopholes" you were referring to, since it is pointless to discuss radically different concepts in a generic post. As usual, it turned out you were repeating the liberal nutjob lines with

they all contribute. You get any other tax breaks or do you refuse such government interference...

I prepare my returns according to the law, of course.
