I don't think AMD has any choice at this point ... AMD will try and keep
the K6 25% lower than comparable Intel CPU's. If they change this strategy,
then it is like admitting defeat. BTW with the lack of K6@233mhz and
now 20% price cuts, AMD will lose money in Q4 (and for the whole year) !!

Anyone,

With Digital getting in bed with Intel, any thoughts on how AMD's plans to use the Alpha bus protocal on the K7 might be affected? Also, you can bet that Digital will start to pull back on K6 system development.
