I do not think that is true. Many here see the issue as extremely simple and cured by simply wrecking the American economy.

Yes, nice summary. Hopefully, the science gets good enough one day that we can accurately predict some of the major cycle shifts in order to plan for changes that could be costly or existential to humans.
