You can swear that all day long and be silly for saying so. Do you know the politics of the Prosecutor who was in charge of the Stevens "investigation" and prosecution? Coulda sworn that the Stevens case was handled by the Bush Justice Department. Obama's administration let him off the hook (and apparently rightfully so). Federal Posecutors no matter what their political leanings are not properly suprvised. They tend to take great brazen shots for affect and career advancement. It has happened on both sides of the spectrum. I think you may see some interesting Federal Prosecutorial conduct in the Blago case.
