Experience is over-rated. JFK was a greenhorn and Krushchev thought he'd set up base in Cuba. But the greenhorn told him to pack up and leave, or else

Is your knowledge of cold war history that limited? JFK was such a little rich boy greenhorn that Krushchev took him apart when they met in Vienna. That gave Krushchev the confidence to set up missles in Cuba. Kennedy had to agree to pull our missiles out of Turkey and never bother Cuba again in order to get him to leave.

JFK's inexperience almost set off WWIII. If Nixon had been elected we would have successfully invaded Cuba and it would not have been a Stalinist slave state for the last 50 years.

I used to find you interesting read, now I just skip over your posts. You've fallen too far.
