But it beats doing nothing and at least he has restored a general level of confidence in "things" for most americans Michael, He created the lack of confidence in the first place. When John McCain said, "The fundamentals of our economy are strong" he was ridiculed to hell and back. Yet, today, 5 months later, we have Obama and the Fed telling us, "The fundamentals of our economy are strong". Do you think that changed in 5 months? Of course not; the fundamentals of the biggest economy in world don't collapse or return in five months. You know that. The fundamentals were strong as McCain said, but only by bashing the economy could the Ds get elected. It worked in '92. It worked in '08. But the fear-mongering brought us to the bring of collapse.
