I think McCain was right then. I hope Obama isn't wrong now. I am afraid he may be wrong. The large number of unemployed can hurt the economy, especially after their unemployment benifit's run out. I agree -- the fundamentals are strong today, but there are problems. My real concern is for the future. The debt load is mounting, and Obama, if he has his way, will add not only 10T over 10 years, but programs that will systematically increase our debt load for decades to come, just as have MC and SSA.
