Right, the convention is to oppose torture. The declarations about torture range from reading one of CJ's posts to having body parts hacked off and a torturous context is required.

You and I have agreed that we depend on the AG to set the legal parameters for US law in this case, not the UN. Beyond that we are all welcome to form individual perspectives on torture.
