Damn, I hate it when that happens. I had a great post all written, was just adding a good bit and lost it all with a spastic click. Anyway, here's the last bit. If the USA is turning into Mussolini's Italy, then you are saying the evil is arising right there in the USA. So having Mussolini "protect" NZ might be a bit like having the Mafia "protect" businesses. <Italy got Mussolini. We are getting Obama. Same Government "Corporatism." Easy for you to sit in NZ and be guarded by us. You can sit there at the ends of the earth and throw stones at us, but when the evil in this world rises, you will be damn glad we are here to protect you.> My main other point was that if it's in the interests of the USA to protect NZ, then it will be protected whether NZ likes it or not. If it isn't, it won't be, whether NZ wants to be protected or not. The USA acts in its interests, not NZ's. I have now got the pip at losing my post so will quit and have a nice cup of tea.
