Paul Potts was another great singer (formerly cell phone salesman) that was discovered on that show as well. If you haven't seen him, I suggest youtube'ing him as well

If you reallly want to see someone special on youtube though, I suggest you watch Steven Wilshire. Here is one of his videos

That was really awesome. They totally dissed her on her age, looks (yikes!), and attitude, but they sure shut the hell up when she started singing. Great to see.

OT - my last comment on Susan Boyle. Looks like she has hit the big time, on the Today Show with Paul Potts

From being unemployed in a small Scotland village, living with her cats, and never having a date because she is 47, seriously homely, and fat ... to instant worldwide fame (her TV appearance was less than a week ago) and media coverage. Talk about a shock to your universe!

It's every would-be entertainer's dream come true, but it must be a huge adjustment for her.
