YANKEE FAN SUES NYPD OVER BATHROOM BREAK By BRUCE GOLDING Posted: 2:18 pm April 15, 2009 A Bronx Bombers fan belted the NYPD with a lawsuit today for kicking him out of the old Yankee Stadium last year because he got up and tried to use the bathroom during a rendition of "God Bless America." Bradford Campeau-Laurion, 30, claimed he was the victim of political and religious discrimination on Aug. 26, 2008, when cops booted him from the famed Bronx ballpark. "The role of police officers is to enforce the law," said NYCLU Executive Director Donna Lieberman. "New York's finest have no business arresting someone for trying to go to the bathroom at a politically incorrect moment." Campeau-Laurion said his clash with cops erupted when he decided to use the bathroom at the start of the seventh-inning stretch. He got up and made his way down the aisle as the song began playing. A cop blocked his path and told him he couldn't leave during the song, according to the lawsuit. He told the officer that he needed to use the bathroom and was not concerned about the song. When the fan attempted to walk past the cop, the police officer grabbed his right arm and twisted it, the lawsuit claimed. A second cop also twisted Campeau-Laurion's left arm behind his back and both officers booted him from the stadium. "That is an abuse of authority and a violation of the constitutional principles that our country is founded on," said Lieberman.

My main other point was that if it's in the interests of the USA to protect NZ, then it will be protected whether NZ likes it or not. If it isn't, it won't be, whether NZ wants to be protected or not. The USA acts in its interests, not NZ's. I see no reason why the US would not protect NZ. You have lots of sheep there, and sheep produce wool, which in turn is used to make sweaters. The US needs sweaters, hence, we will be sure to protect NZ.
