Mohan, from your post.........and Dell Computer Corp.'s sales rose by up to 74 percent.............

That would put Dell's revenues for Q3 at $3.5 billion!

A 'WON' for your thoughts. There goes another 'tiger'.

From:Financial Times-London (10/27/97)

South Korea won in record fall
Kim Young-sam, the president of South Korea, said that measures must be introduced to stabilise markets after the won fell to a record low against the dollar. The won managed to recover slightly at the close after slipping to an historic low of Won942 after, with the central bank repeatedly intervening in the market. The embattled currency ended at Won939.9, compared with Friday's close of Won929.5.

The news today basically saying Dell's unit say is up abou 60% from last year, even with the same margin (not mention that the PC prices dropped sharply recently), Dell is about to make about $.63/share with these figures. This is great for Dell, but the bad news is that all these are built in the stock and first call has $.65/share for Dell to beat. If Dell comes at or below $.65, watch out!
